Psalm 23
I. God’s Flock Has All of God for Every Need
Psalm 23:1: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
II. God Restores His Anxious and Drained Flock
Psalm 23:2-3a: He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
III. God Grows His Flock on Unnatural Paths
Psalm 23:3b: He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
IV. God Secures His Frightened Flock
Psalm 23:4: Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
V. God Comforts His Flock with His Table
Psalm 23:5: You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
VI. God Comforts His Flock with His Table
Psalm 23:6: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
